We try to use all ingredients from local supermarkets and no artificial flavours added to make the broth from scratch. And of course using our home made miso.

Daifuku Mochi
Thursday, 25 November 2021 10am to 12pm At Wanaka Haven, 42 Halliday Road, Wanaka
Our next class is to make Japanese sweets “Daifuku” by Yumi Sasaki. She has been living in Wanaka for 22 years and running her own class as well. She has got great ideas to enjoy Japanese cooking with local people.
$50 per person including recipe and tips, 4 daifuku mochi and tasting them with Japanese tea.
Miso Making
Friday, 15 October & Monday, 25 October 2021 10am to 1pm At Wanaka haven
Do you want to know how to make and use Miso or interested in Japanese food culture?
$50 per person including 2 type of miso as a gift. We will make miso from scratch and you will bring home to store till it’s ready to be used next year we will share some recipes and nibbles for tasting.
